Come by and drop in anytime at our Mosaic Fall Welcome Event on September 10th from 4:30–6 PM! 

Whether you’re brand new to Mosaic, have been around before, or have never heard of us, come hang out and get to know the space through a fun, interactive scavenger hunt!

You’ll get to learn more about our lounge, prayer space, campus resources, ways to get involved, and some of the programs we offer. Plus, there’ll be cultural snacks, refreshments, henna, and DIY tote bags 👀

Complete the scavenger hunt and stick around for some arts & crafts!

In celebration of API Heritage Month, join us for an exclusive evening with Indo-Fijian rapper, Fijiana! 💚

We’ll kick off the event with a conversation with Fijiana on the ways art and music are can be used to tell our authentic stories, express ourselves, and negotiate what culture and identity means in the diaspora. 💬

Following our chat with Fijiana, she will perform some of the hits that have brought her into the spotlight in the Bay Area music scene and beyond! 🎤🌉

“That’s so gay.” ⚠️ It’s a phrase people say all the time, but moments like this are examples of microaggressions: subtle comments that can still be offensive, dismissive, and rooted in stereotypes.

These statements may seem small, but their impact isn’t. They reinforce harmful ideas, invalidate identities, and can make people feel isolated. Understanding the impact is the first step towards creating more respectful and inclusive spaces. 💙

How can we respond? Pause, ask for clarification, & address the impact.
