Gamma Iota Update
We recently received an update on the Gamma Iota Chapter at SJSU, & wanted to pass the information along. Currently, there are 16 girls in the house & understandably, they're facing a few challenges. Not only are they a small chapter, but still don't have a house & don't seem to be getting much support from nationals. Here's a quick way to help, send them an email!! Share a story of what K∆ means to you, or just even wish them good luck with recruitment. Let them know we are thinking of them!! You can email them directly at: [email protected]
Their advisors have been getting creative, which includes renting an Airbnb for recruitment instead of the Student Union.
Joining the Alumnae Association, whether you're near or far, is a way to financially support them when they need larger things as well. Understandably not everyone can afford $30/year for dues. Another free way to support is to follow everyone's socials. There is a Gamma Iota Actives & Alums page that both groups can post to, & has been a great way to communicate in addition to email. Please let us know if you need help finding any of the FB/IG pages or groups.
South Bay Panhellenic Update
There is a fundraiser for South Bay Panhellenic Thursday September 22nd. If you're in the area & enjoy Lazy Dog, please see the flyer for details.
