Brews, appetizers, and Bay Area Mustangs! 🌉

Join us on Friday, July 24, from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. for a Cal Poly Night at the SF Giants Pregame Alumni and Friends Mixer at Fieldwork Brewing in Mission Rock. Whether you're heading into Oracle Park for Cal Poly Night later that evening, or just want to grab a drink and some appetizers with your fellow Mustangs, everyone is welcome!

Adult tickets are $12 and $5 for youth younger than 15. Tickets include:
- A drink ticket (only available with an adult ticket)

If you were a Mustang between 1980 and 2001, this one is for you. This era completely redefined the campus experience. It brought us Kennedy Library, the Rec Center, our very first "Best in the West" ranking, and the move to NCAA Division I athletics! 🐎💚

Alumna Kathryn Webb (’19) remembers being the only woman on the Baja team. Today, she's watching a massive culture shift where nearly half of the team's leads are women!

And that Mustang connection stays strong long after graduation. Alumnae like Esther Unti (’18) frequently return from industry giants like Lucid Motors to review student designs, mentor, and help steady the build before race day. 🏁

Meet Matthew Canepa and Patrick Pezet (Business Administration ’09), the former Cal Poly baseball teammates behind . By applying the ultimate Learn by Doing mindset, they turned chewing coffee grounds for study energy into a massively successful, nicotine-free alternative to chewing to***co.

⚾ Moneyball for Mustangs 📊

Cal Poly Bailey College of Science and Mathematics student Gabe Riedel combines his passion for math and baseball to help the Cal Poly Baseball team gain a competitive edge through analytics, data engineering, and more.

Ahead of the 2026 season, Riedel and members of the student statistics team embarked on an ambitious project to develop their own one-stop shop app for analytics, comparable to what major league baseball teams use.

Gather with fellow alumni and friends at the legendary Barney’s Beanery in Westwood on Friday, May 29, ahead of the NCAA Los Angeles Regional game against Virginia Tech. Join Athletic Director Carter Henderson for appetizers, drinks, and networking before the first pitch from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Tickets are $15 for adults (includes a drink ticket, appetizers, and swag) and $5 for youth under 15 years old (includes appetizers and swag).
