San Luis Obispo branch of CCSCE, is accepting new students into the Medical Assistant Program. According to the Labor Statistics this occupation is growing about 25% more than other occupations due to more people needing healthcare and the job being more diverse. In the next year it is expected to have a huge increase in job openings. The average starting salary for a well trained Medical Assistant at entry level is $23 to $24 an hour.
