On Aug. 28, Cal Poly Football set a new attendance record at its season opener and gave fans a night to remember. The Mustangs won in the final seconds of the fourth quarter, following a meaningful halftime celebration retiring the No. 74 in honor of NFL coach and former Mustang John Madden.
