This Saturday the Jazz Ensemble will be performing at the Eddie Durham Jazz Festival at Eddie Durham Park in San Marcos! The festival runs from 11-5, and the JE plays at 3:00. They'll be paying tribute to the San Marcos native- who is a legend in jazz composition and arranging, a pioneer in electric guitar, and a jazz trombonist- by performing 3 of his tunes in our set. I guarantee you've heard at least one of them before! There will be food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, music all day, and it's free thanks to the Calaboose Museum and the City of San Marcos.
