We regularly attend professional events such as the annual TRAPS Institute and participate in service projects such as the Larry Turner Classic Wheelchair Basketball Tournament. We also regularly enjoy recreation activities that allow our members to connect with each other - recent socials include a students vs. The history of engagement and service among Recreation Administration Division students at Texas State doesn't stop with A.R.E. - the current club was born out of the joining of two former Recreation Administration Division student organizations, the Association of Recreation Majors (ARM) and Adapted Sports Club of Texas State (ASCOTS). Recreation students have been showing up for their profession and their community since their school was called Southwest Texas!
