Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at CSUSM OLLI at CSUSM provides Adults (50+) with college-level courses free of tests & grades. Lifelong Learners come together simply for the pure joy of learning!

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute provides mature learners (50 years and older) with an intellectually challenging program of non-credit courses taught by Cal State San Marcos professors and other experts in their respective fields. The program recognizes that an active mind fosters a general sense of well-being and challenges learners to stay intellectually alive and socially aware. Membershi

p is required to participate in our program. We have three terms; Fall, Spring, and Summer. We average 30 classes per term and offer courses throughout North County. Most of the classes are offered in 5 or 10 week sessions, (2 hours each week). If you are interested in connecting with a group of your peers who share common goals—to learn new things, travel and build upon personal experiences—OLLI is for you! The Osher Institute offers a “requirement free” environment that does not involve examinations or grades, and is open to all interested older adults regardless of previous educational achievements. Registration is OPEN for the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at CSUSM!

Our Fall Term kicks off September 14, and we’re ready to welcome you back for another season filled with interesting classes, new ideas, great conversations, and plenty of opportunities to learn something new.

What an unforgettable experience! 🌊🐋

Our Osher Lifelong Learning members had the incredible privilege of attending a whale watching tour accompanied by expert Bonnie Wiengarth. From breathtaking ocean views to the awe-inspiring sight of these majestic creatures in their natural habitat, it was truly a day to remember.

Kick off the season with a special behind-the-scenes tour of the Carlsbad Police and Fire Facilities on Thursday, June 4th.
