New Bobcat Enrollment

A lot of students ask, “Once I’m admitted, how do I register for classes at TXST?”

To be enrolled in classes at TXST, a new Bobcat must first:

1. Confirm their Major (form on the TXST Future Bobcat Portal)
2. Sign up for New Student Orientation (NSO)
3. Submit a Housing Contract (or exemption)
4. Complete and submit a New Bobcat Enrollment Profile

Once these steps are completed, TXST academic advisors will build a course plan and register the student in 12-15 hours of degree-applicable course work that starts them on the path graduation. About a week before their scheduled NSO session, the advising team will send students an email containing details on how to review their course schedule and make adjustments to it, as well as how to connect with an advisor to get any questions answered. Students will also have an opportunity to meet with an advisor to discuss their course schedule and degree plan at NSO.
