We had an excellent fundraiser event for Texas State International Piano Festival, hosted by the wonderful members of my church, Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian. SHPC has been part of our journey for over 10 years now, and they have provided thousands of dollars towards our scholarship. Thank you everyone!

We are now less than 3 weeks away from the start of the 16th Texas State International Piano Festival. It's been a long year since we've seen you. A little late with this post…. Congratulations to the Ben Gomez competition winner Adrian Zaragoza on a spectacular performance of the Chopin 2nd Piano Concerto with the Central Texas Philharmonic. Also, a huge thank you goes out to Col. Ben Gomez for sponsoring this incredible endeavor at the 15th Texas State International Piano Festival. As a young artist, nothing is more meaningful than performing a concerto with a professional orchestra and Adrian, as part of his prize, got to do it twice, which are memories he will have for the rest of his life. Thank you all who’ve made this possible!

This week, we would like to feature our Associate Director of the 15th Texas State International Piano Festival Dr. So Yong Choi. Not only was Dr. Choi instrumental in facilitating many aspects of holding TSIPF in Korea, but she also made the festival extremely fun, especially for the faculty. We were very happy to have her join our team in 2025 and are excited to have her back once again in 2026.
