Sixty years ago this month, students stayed connected through NCCC Briefs, a regularly published newsletter highlighting campus news and activities.

These editions from August 3, 10, and 17, 1966 offered a snapshot of campus life, including:

🎓 Honor List requirements and matriculation updates
📄 Transcript requests and registration details
📖 Library deadlines and bookstore notices
🍂 Preparations for the Fall 1966 semester

🌟 Alumni Spotlight: Dan Jackson ’99

When plans change, new opportunities can lead to incredible success—and Dan Jackson’s journey is proof.

After an unexpected shift in plans following high school, Dan chose SUNY Niagara to explore his options. That decision became the foundation for a thriving career. Today, he serves as Director of Sales at WIVB/WNLO, after working his way up from an entry-level role.

Dan credits SUNY Niagara for giving him the confidence and well-rounded skills needed to succeed. Along the way, he built lasting friendships and stayed closely connected to the College as an active alumni volunteer.
