SAC is looking for a Part-Time Lifeguard to provide pool safety coverage during the Aquatic Conditioning classes held on campus. The lifeguard’s role is focused on aquatic safety and emergency preparedness, allowing the faculty instructor to concentrate on instruction and student learning.

Over the summer, Santa Ana College’s Team MEKAH brought home $15,000 from the NASA Orbit Challenge which was hosted at the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. They won the Complimentary Use of AI Award ($5,000) and the Integration Bonus Award ($10,000).

Team MEKAH, comprised of SAC students My Le, Arthur Alcocer, Michael Trang, Tony Mendoza, and UC San Diego student Ken Khant presented “Project THRESHOLD”, a post-Extra Vehicular Activity (EVA) environmental and human readiness verification system designed to support safer astronaut transitions after EVA operations.

SAC is committed to our student-athlete’s success, and that includes providing our football team a new state-of-the-art field. It was a blast to see the SAC community come out to the ribbon-cutting and celebrate our student-athletes. We wish SACDons a successful fall season!
