We will be hosting our third panel of fall quarter next Tuesday, October 20th at Mosher Alumni House! We will be joined by Deloitte and C&D, as they talk about what people typically remember from and conversation, and how you can leave a good impression.

Tickets will work similarly this week, with priority tickets being able to get into the meeting and get food first. Waitlist tickets will be able to check in starting after 6:25 PM, and will be able to get food after priority ticket holders. As a reminder, waitlist tickets are not guaranteed food!

A UAS membership is required to attend this meeting. Registration for this meeting will go live on Wednesday, October 14th at 7 PM. Members will receive the registration link via email, and if you sign up for a membership after the send-out time, find the registration link in your membership confirmation email. Free dinner will be provided!

We will be hosting our second firm panel with BDO and Sensiba! This meeting will be taking place next Tuesday, October 13th @ Mosher Alumni House. The meeting will be centered around what life is like after you get the job!

Tickets will work a little differently: You may register for priority tickets until they are sold out. Priority ticket holders will be able to get into the meeting and be able to get food first. After priority tickets are full, you will be able to register for waitlist tickets. Waitlist tickets will be allowed to check in starting after 6:25 PM, and will be able to get food after priority ticket holders.

UAS is excited to be bringing back office hours! Anyone is welcome to join, whether it’s to learn more about UAS, seek advice about an upcoming event, ask a question about the Economics and Accounting program/classes, or just to connect with the board! The first office hours will be on Thursday, October 1st from 1-2 PM, and the link to join can be found in our linktree! You do NOT need to be a UAS member to attend office hours!

The tentative office hours schedule for October can be found on the second slide, along with which board members will be present. Check out our board intro stories to learn more about us, and which board members could potentially help you out! Feel free to attend any and as many office hours as you want.

We will be hosting our first firm panel of the year next Tuesday, October 6th at Mosher Alumni House! We will be joined by KPMG and Frank, Rimerman + Co. This is a great way to hear directly from the firms that are hiring on what they look for in great applicants, and tips for recruiting!

Join us for our first weekly meeting of Fall quarter! This week, we will be introducing the club, our fall recruitment events, and we will be releasing another wave of the Gauntlet tickets! All students are welcome and no membership is required! We will be providing free Costco pizza! Please register through the link in our bio. NOTE: This meeting will take place at the Interactive Learning Pavilion (ILP) 2101 instead of the usual Mosher Alumni House.

Sign-ups for 2026 Fall Meet the Firms will be released on Wednesday, September 23rd @ 7 PM PST. We will send the link to members via email at 7 PM. If you sign up for the membership after the send out time, find the sign up link in your membership email. This event is great for students interested in fall recruiting. The event will take place in-person at UCSB’s Loma Pelona Center on Friday, October 9th and will be split into two 2-hour sessions: 1-3 PM and 4-6 PM. Please dress in business formal and have copies of your resume ready to hand out to professionals.

Students can register up until the day of the event, but please register by Tuesday, 10/7 if you would like to receive a printed name tag. Additional information can be found on the Eventbrite after signing up. We look forward to seeing you all there! Feel free to reach out with any questions.

UAS will be hosting our annual Business Club Fair during Welcome Week on Thursday, September 24th from 6-8 PM at Mosher Alumni House! A UAS membership is NOT REQUIRED so invite your friends! This is the perfect opportunity to network and socialize with various business organizations at UCSB. Come learn about what these organizations do and how you can get involved!

Registration is available now via the link in our bio! All grade levels and majors are welcome. Taco Bell will be provided while supplies last, first come first served. We look forward to meeting some of you in person!
