Thanks to those who attended and asked questions, including SFPS School Board Member District 5, Juan Blea. Many questions were answered, but there are still more we have for the district. NEA-SF was relieved this afternoon, when SFPS shared the message from Bernadette Salazar, Deputy Superintendent of Human Resources and Systems, that the 2026-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement was "ratified".

But the statement from Bernadette Salazar is not quite correct.

Our work isn't done.
The fight is not over.

NEA-SF continues to find discrepancies.
The SFPS statement released is false; it is missing information, and not just the pay tables.

PLEASE SHARE THIS INFORMATION AT ALL SCHOOL SITES.

THE FIGHT IS NOT OVER.

Join us tonight at the SFPS School board Meeting, 5:30.

Wear RED to let your coworkers know that you are fed up with the SFPS Administration not yet publishing our 2026-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Wear RED to let the SFPS Administration know that video cameras *recording audio* are illegal in New Mexico and will no longer be tolerated in our schools.
The Superintendent signed off on the CBA in July.
The drafts have been reviewed.
NEA-SF Bargaining Team found areas to be corrected, and made the corrections.

We want out CBA.
We want answers about audio surveillance.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 24! NEA-Santa Fe is calling on all educators and staff to unite and make our voices heard at the upcoming School Board meeting.

We are demanding that SFPS Administration finally publish our 2026-2027 Collective Bargaining Agreement and address the installation of workplace cameras with audio.

Here is how you can take action:
🔴 Wear Red for Ed: Wear your red shirts to school, follow your contract to the letter, and leave right at your bargained time.
🔴 Join the Walk-In: Meet us at Salvador Perez Park (688 Alta Vista St) at 5:00 PM to walk into the 5:30 PM School Board meeting together as a unified front!
🔴 Make Your Voice Heard: Sign up to speak in person at the meeting, submit email comments to [email protected] by noon on September 24!
