🥳 That’s a wrap on an amazing College for Kids summer session at the Santa Maria Campus! 👏 From June 15-18, students ages 5-11 explored new interests, built new skills, and created lasting memories through hands on learning and creative experiences. Throughout the week, students enjoyed STEAM fun, Arts & Crafts, Ukulele, Sewing for Kids, Chemistry in the Kitchen, and more while making friends and discovering new talents! 💗 A special thank you to Costco Store #1275 and Randy, owner of Straw Hat Pizza, for their generous contributions to our end-of-the program celebration. Your support helped make our final day extra special! 🍕 We also extend our sincere thanks to our parents and families for trusting us with your young learners and supporting their educational journey. Finally, thank you to our instructors, staff, community partners, students, and families for making this year’s program a success. We hope everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable summer! ☀️📚💙

Congratulations to all our outstanding SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference competitors!

This week, Jovany Cardenas and Penny Morales shared their experiences from the national competition in Atlanta with the Allan Hancock College Board of Trustees.

A special shoutout to Jovany, who brought home a national gold medal in computer programming, and to Penny, a state champion in welding sculpture, who proudly represented Hancock on the national stage.

Their achievements reflect the talent, dedication, and hard work of Hancock's students. We are incredibly proud of both students for representing our college, our community, and California with excellence.

History made. And recognized on one of the biggest stages in higher education.

This year, more than two dozen students became the first graduates of the Cal Poly–Allan Hancock College Bachelor's Pathway, earning their Cal Poly degrees while taking classes right here on the Hancock campus.

At Cal Poly's commencement ceremony, these trailblazing graduates received a special shoutout from Cal Poly President Jeffrey D. Armstrong, Ph.D., recognizing the inaugural cohort and the groundbreaking partnership that helped make their achievement possible.

For these graduates, their families, and our region, this is more than a commencement milestone. It's a life-changing accomplishment and the realization of a vision decades in the making.

Congratulations to these pioneering students!
