Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Tau Tau Omega Chapter Tau Tau Omega is the Santa Monica, CA chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Members have participated in annual service projects at the L.A. King Jr.

The lovely ladies of Tau Tau Omega Chapter work to promote service to all mankind through community involvement in the Santa Monica area and greater Los Angeles communities. Mission, the Downtown Women’s Shelter, with the Dream Center on Skid Row for the National Family Volunteer Day of Service, Christmas Toy Drives, and the Dr. Martin L. Day of Service.

Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Tau Tau Omega Chapter is proud to support Westside Food Bank through our Cereal Donation Drive!

Food insecurity continues to impact individuals and families throughout our community, and we’re coming together to help make a difference, one box of cereal at a time!

🛒 HOW TO GIVE: Purchase cereal directly from our Amazon Wish List. All donations will be shipped directly to our chapter representative for delivery to Westside Food Bank.

🥣 Any type of cereal is welcome!

🎀 Your genes are like instruction books inside every cell

🎀 BRCA1 and BRCA2 are the ones that repair damaged cells

🎀 About 1 in 400 people carry a BRCA mutation, and a mutation does NOT mean cancer is certain

🎀 Everyday stuff like chemicals, pollution, pesticides, and stress can add to risk too

The good news? A simple blood or saliva test can check for it. Ask your doctor if genetic testing is right for you. 🩷

Day Two of GREENwell was a beautiful opportunity to celebrate the bonds we share and the collective impact we created together💚

We began the day with a special tour of historic Inkwell Beach in Santa Monica, taking a moment to reflect on the history, resilience, and legacy of the Santa Monica community. From there, the day unfolded with laughter, games, music, and meaningful fellowship.

It was a beautiful reminder that when we gather with purpose, and create space for joy, we strengthen the bonds that connect us and carry our work forward.
