We are proud to celebrate Professor Joseph L. Stogner, honored by the Sonoma County Bar Association as a 2026 Careers of Distinction award recipient.

President Lisa Sperow, Professor and Board of Trustees member Shawn Loring, and Empire Campus Dean Roger Illsley were there to recognize Professor Stogner at the awards dinner. His dedication to teaching and to the legal community reflects what Empire College of Law is all about: local lawyers preparing the next generation to serve their community.

Congratulations to Professor Stogner and to fellow honoree Rose M. Zoia on this well-deserved recognition.

Empire College of Law has been a branch campus of Monterey College of Law since 2023, continuing a Sonoma County legal education tradition that goes back fifty years. Our students are here in Santa Rosa learning to put that document to work.

Save one classmate’s number before you leave the building. You will text them “wait, what page is she on” before the month is out. Better to have the number already.
