Eastern Upper Peninsula Paddling Club This group was created so like minded people could kayak together. Learn from one another. We are beginning again Spring 2016.

We are an American Canoe Association Paddle America Club associated out of Lake Superior State University, dedicated to the education and awareness of safe and enjoyable paddling,wither it be kayaking, canoeing, paddleboading or any other paddlecraft.

We don't do just rolls. We practice strokes and skills. In this video I turn clockwise for a while. Then I turn counter clockwise. It's really interesting. At the end I get to do a roll. It was an ugly roll, but I ended up upright and breathing.

Three rolls in 36 seconds, including a couple of conversations about what I was actually doing. Note how I get up and Brian says, "Bad." I think getting up is good. Silly me. These rolls were in my sea kayak. I'm glad to finally be able to roll my own boat. :-)

I manage to roll with a different paddle. Later during this session I managed to roll a different kayak!
