Hello Sault Ste. Marie!
We know that music and theatre have deep roots in history and tradition, but did you know mime has a rich history of its own? With roots in the theatres of ancient Greece and Rome, mime has evolved into a sophisticated art of movement, expression, and storytelling.
In the 20th century, artists like Étienne Decroux helped shape modern mime, while his student Marcel Marceau brought the art form to audiences around the world through his iconic character, Bip.
Now, Bill Bowers, who studied under Marceau, carries that tradition forward in It Goes Without Saying. Through movement, humor, storytelling, and silence, Bowers shares the remarkable story of his life, from growing up in Montana to performing across the country and on Broadway.
Come catch 'Under A Montana Moon' this Friday at 11am for free, and 'It Goes Without Saying!' at 7pm! Don't miss out, and get your tickets here: https://shorturl.at/zobPJ
