Our next Saturday STEAMlabs will be November 7th!

Join us for "Falling Into Technology" and enjoy celebrating fall and learning about technology at the same time.

We have groups separated by age for 1st - 8th graders.

Students will learn about the structure of the leaves and how it looks at the molecular level using handheld microscopes. They will explore how the leaves change during each season and how light and temperature affect the timing. Students will learn about light - how it moves, how it is composed, and how it bends. Students will then take what they have learned and using 3D design and fiber optics, they will create their own tree with the ability to change as the seasons change.

🎉Announcing the CEISMC Savannah Lending Library for LOCAL educators!

The Georgia Tech CEISMC Savannah Lending Library is now available to support local K–12 educators with engaging STEM resources designed to enhance classroom instruction and inspire student learning.

The Lending Library provides access for our local educators to a variety of educational resources, including:
STEM equipment and instructional tools

🎉Activity guides and classroom resources
🎉STEM-related books
🎉Materials that promote inquiry-based learning, creativity, problem-solving, and career exploration

Our goal is to help educators bring real-world STEM concepts into their classrooms through meaningful, standards-aligned learning experiences that engage students and spark curiosity.

Educators interested in borrowing materials should obtain approval from their school principal or designated administrator prior to checkout. The past few months have been filled with learning on campus! Our OSHA courses have been full, and we have awarded several certificates. Congratulations to these learners that took at least six courses to earn their certificate. Sometimes this takes several years, and we are exceptionally proud of their achievements!
