The SSU Takeover Cruise for Alumni & Friends This is a fundraiser cruise to benefit Savannah State University. The inaugural 2025 cruise had 350 SSU Tigers onboard Carnival Glory.

🧡💙 THE 3RD ANNUAL SSU TAKEOVER CRUISE IS HERE! 💙🧡

Join Savannah State University’s Alumni & Friends for the 3rd Annual SSU Takeover Cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas. The SSU Takeover Cruise 3 is a fundraiser cruise designed to bring Tigers together for a weekend of fellowship, entertainment, and unforgettable memories while supporting our beloved alma mater, Savannah State University.

We know many of you were excited about the Virgin Voyages plans. Unfortunately, it did not work out but I found an incredible new home aboard Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas and we I believe you’re going to love it for Year 3.

📅 June 10–14, 2027

A kickoff event is being organized for Thursday, June 10, 2027, in Miami, Florida.

Cruise Itinerary

🚢 Friday, June 11 – Embarkation Day | Port of Miami
🏝️ Saturday, June 12 – Perfect Day at CocoCay, Bahamas
🌊 Sunday, June 13 – Nassau, Bahamas
⚓ Monday, June 14 – Debarkation | Miami, Florida

Booking Information

🛏️ Bookings begin August 1, 2026. Reservations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
✅ For double occupancy, reserve your stateroom with just a $50 deposit per stateroom.
🚢 A total deposit of $200 per stateroom secures your reservation, and you will receive your official booking confirmation.
