What a week at AAMI eXchange 2026 in Denver! The College of Biomedical Equipment Technology (CBET) team is heading home grateful for the conversations, connections, and time spent with so many people across the HTM community.
This year was a busy one for CBET! From meeting students, alumni, employers, partners, and industry leaders at booth #517, to supporting HTM education conversations throughout the event, AAMI gave us the chance to connect with the people who are helping move this field forward every day. We were proud to have several members of the CBET team contribute to the event through presentations, courses, and industry discussions, including Dr. Richard L. "Monty" Gonzales, Ed. D., Steve Gutierrez, John Schmidt, and Jim Doran. Their involvement across different areas of AAMI eXchange reflected CBET’s continued commitment to HTM education, workforce development, leadership, and collaboration.
CBET was also honored to collaborate with AAMI on the Healthcare Technology Management Leadership Development Course, a full-day program created for current and emerging HTM professionals looking to strengthen their leadership skills and better serve their teams, organizations, and patients.
Beyond the sessions and scheduled events, some of the best moments came from the conversations in between. We had the opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, meet new partners, hear from students and graduates, and talk with employers about the needs they are seeing across the HTM workforce.
Thank you to AAMI for hosting another meaningful eXchange, and thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared ideas, asked questions, took photos, or spent time with us throughout the week.
CBET is proud to be part of this community, and we look forward to continuing the work with students, partners, employers, and HTM professionals across the country.
