Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at ASU

Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at ASU Entrepreneurship + Innovation at Arizona State University connects you to the information, resources and people that can help you turn your ideas into reality.

Arizona State University is known for its unique and effective approach to growing an entrepreneurial enterprise within a public university system. Here entrepreneurship is not confined to a single college or school, nor is it housed in one center or institute. Valuing entrepreneurship means that it is more than just a class or a program; it is a mindset that is woven into the fabric of the univer

sity, permeating every activity. ASU students, faculty and staff in every discipline and at every level work to identify local and global needs, articulate how to meet them and implement entrepreneurial solutions. Arizona State University-managed online communities, including pages, the ASU on Facebook application and ASU-run Facebook groups, are intended to inform users of ASU-related news and events, as well as foster discussion and a sense of community among users. ✨ 2026 Lab Mentor Summit ✨

The end of April marked an exciting milestone as 48 Lab Mentors from across the country gathered in Scottsdale for the 2026 Verizon Innovative Learning Lab Mentor Summit, a 4-day, immersive training experience focused on innovation in teaching and learning.

Coming out of this jam-packed conference, we saw that 96% of our educators feel prepared to achieve learning outcomes. Having the opportunity to create hands-on, immersive learning helped build real confidence with our mentors bringing technology back to the classroom. As one mentor put it. “This is the most useful training I have ever attended in my 12 years as an educator.”

What’s driving this impact?
-Hands-on exploration with AR/VR, coding, and 3D design
-Practical application of design thinking
-Dedicated collaboration and peer learning
-Immediate, classroom-ready implementation strategies

By the end of the week, Lab Mentors and Educators returned home with confidence, tools, and the community needed to create impactful, tech-enabled learning environments for their students!

Good luck, inventors!

Tomorrow, 27 student inventors from across Arizona will take the national stage at Invention Convention Worldwide U.S. Nationals 2026.

From first graders to high school students, Team Arizona represents the creativity, determination and problem-solving mindset that drive innovation forward. Each student identified a real-world challenge, developed a solution and transformed an idea into an invention.

Through Invention Convention Arizona, operated by the Youth Entrepreneurship team within the Edson Entrepreneurship + Innovation Institute at Arizona State University, students gain hands-on experience in innovation, entrepreneurship and design thinking. Along the way, they build skills in critical thinking, communication, research and resilience that will serve them far beyond the competition.

As they head to The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation, we’re proud to celebrate these 27 young inventors and the educators, families and communities who supported them.

Good luck, Team Arizona. We can't wait to see what you accomplish. 🚀💡

Just days after graduating from ASU, Logan Milano walked away with a $100,000 win at the Inferno Invitational Startup Cup.

His startup, Amryth, creates a “relaxation and focus” beverage made with rare honey sourced from Nepal. What started as homemade drink experiments quickly became a fast-growing venture with international supply chains, cold-chain logistics and thousands of cans already sold.

The competition brought together student entrepreneurs, highlighting ideas ranging from emergency-response drone networks to telehealth hearing devices.
