Carolina Bronze is looking for an experienced Art Foundry Metal Finisher. As a metal finisher you must be a positive worker, be willing to learn and be able to work as part of a team to complete assigned tasks. This is a full time position Monday – Friday.
Carolina Bronze Sculpture – 6108 Maple Springs Rd, Seagrove, NC
The work includes but is not limited to:
Responsibilities:
• TIG welding seams and other defects on small and large scale sculpture
• Grinding, chasing, and finishing metal castings and fabricated sculpture
• Assist with bronze pours, media blasting and other finish work as required
• Wear proper safety equipment as required for job
• Maintain tools and be responsible for basic housekeeping in your area
• Maintain a high degree of quality in your work
• Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Must be proficient in TIG welding
• Must be physically able to handle heavy items (50 lbs) including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning products for an entire shift
• Must be able to work scheduled hours and comply with the company's policies
• Ability to work in a team setting and must be a team player
• Self-assess work and use good judgment to ensure that a quality product is produced
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Experience in a manufacturing environment a plus
• Experience with using and maintaining hand tools, table saw, band saw, grinders
• Education: High School Diploma
• Salary commensurate with experience
