We’re so excited to introduce another one of our stellar graduate admissions counselors today, Ashleigh Smith! When Ashleigh has free time, she loves to spend it with her husband and kids. However, she still makes time for her many hobbies: photography, crafting, singing, crocheting, quilting, and baking sourdough!

Favorite Part of the Job: My favorite part of this role is getting to build meaningful relationships with graduate students that have completed their application and help them envision their future here. I also love showcasing just how welcoming and wonderful the Scranton community truly is.

Favorite To-Do in Scranton: First Friday! There’s something special about wandering around downtown, popping into galleries, and stumbling onto art and music you didn’t expect. It’s such a simple, cool way to soak in the creativity in our community.

Favorite Book: I can’t pick just one favorite book. But I’ve always loved Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights, and Pride and Prejudice. There’s just something about those stories and characters that sticks with me no matter how many times I read them.
