The Royal Warrior Battalion is comprised of over 120 Cadets from ten colleges and universities located throughout Northeastern Pennsylvania. Headquartered at the University of Scranton, the Royal Warrior Battalion has a distinguished history producing officers who have served the Army and the Nation at every rank from Second Lieutenant thru Lieutenant General. Many of our graduates and commissione

es have gone on to enjoy success following their military service in politics, business, education and other endeavors. The Cadets of the Royal Warrior Battalion are some of the finest scholars, athletes and student leaders our ten campuses have to offer. Each year our Military Science III Cadets meet or exceed US Army Cadet Command standards at the mentally and physically demanding ROTC Advanced Camp at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Additionally, a number of our Cadets are selected to participate in Cadet Professional Development Programs such as Airborne School, Air Assault School, Mountain and Northern Warfare Schools, Nurse Summer Training Program, and Cadet Troop Leader Training. The Royal Warrior Battalion is one of forty two schools assigned to the US Army Cadet Command’s Second “Freedom” Brigade. Posting Guidelines:

The Royal Warrior Battalion recently commissioned the next generation of Army officers during the RWB's Spring Commissioning Ceremony! 8 cadets were honored at an on-campus ceremony, held Saturday, May 23, 2026 at the McIlhenny Ballroom inside the DeNaples Center at the University of Scranton.

🟣 2nd Lt. Amanda Trzesniowski: Nurse Corps
⚪ 2nd Lt. Steven Wohlmuth: Logistics

This milestone represents years of discipline, sacrifice, leadership development, and commitment to service. These newly commissioned Second Lieutenants now step into their careers; prepared to lead soldiers and serve our nation. 🇺🇸🫡

We were honored to welcome back Col. Kaitlyn Perkins '03, who served as the principal speaker. Her presence and remarks reinforced the significance of the responsibility these young officers now assume as leaders in the U.S. Army.

The ceremony was not simply the end of a college program - it was the beginning of a lifetime of service. Congratulations to our newest Army Officers! The future of our Army is stronger because of your leadership.
