For our FINAL Senior Spotlight for the CLA class of 2022, meet Spring 2022 Graduate, Karen Yesenia De Leon! 🎓🤗

Karen majored in Human Development and says her favorite memory at CSULB is joining Greek life and "creating memorable bonds with my brothers and sisters from ΔΣΧ!"
Now that she's graduated, Karen says she plans to focus on herself, "make money moves," and be happy! We love that!

Meet Spring 2022 Graduate, Silvia Romero! 🤩

Silvia majored in Spanish and minored in Translation Studies. Her plan now is to find a job as an audiovisual translator and get a Master's degree abroad! ✈️

Her favorite memories at CSULB are the class discussions during Professor Acevedo Rivera's literature classes.

"I had the opportunity to share my thoughts and analysis on the novel, short story, poem, etc. It was my favorite time of the week. I loved her class discussions; that's why I took her four times."

This class may fulfill the GE for D, F, and Global Issues. Also, it may fulfill the practicum requirement for the POSC major. If you're interested in enrolling, there are still sections open.

Yannely majored in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Education Studies. After graduation, she will be teaching kindergarten students! 👧

Her favorite memory at CSULB is running late to class, but managing to always have a coffee bean beverage with her! ☕️

Meet CLA Spring 2022 graduate, Maria Lourdes Balisi! 🥳

Maria majored in English Literature. Her plans after graduation are to start finding tutoring/teaching jobs and later on, go back to school for a master's degree or enter law school. How exciting!

Her favorite memory at CSULB is "Every time I am in the library reading my books while drinking coffee and refreshments. That's the memory I would cherish the most from this campus. Moments like that, as a student, I feel a sense of belongingness. It feels like CSULB created a space for me to feel free and empowered." Well said, Maria! 🤩

Vanessa majored in Liberal Studies and received a multiple subject teaching credential. 📚 After graduation, she plans on teaching elementary students!

Her favorite memory at CSULB is spending time at the library to study, the basement was her favorite spot!

Meztli majored in English - Creative Writing and her plans after graduation is to take a semester off before going to graduate school.

Her favorite memory at CSULB has been joining the ConChord group!

Meet Renee Segura, a Spring 2022 graduate! 🎓✨

Renee majored in English Literature and now that she's graduated, she says she plans to "take a much-needed break" to spend time with her kids. After taking a break, she then plans on applying to grad school next Spring to continue on her road to becoming a college professor. 🧑‍🏫

One of her favorite memories at CSULB is taking English 451 with Professor Smith because it solidified her passion for studying Medieval Literature. 📚

Stop by the Coffee Bean at the University Student Union to order a tasty bagel, tea, latte, matcha, and more! 🍵 🥐

Invite some friends, colleagues, or classmates to walk to the Coffee Bean between classes this fall semester to grab a snack, study, or relax!

Summer hours: Open 8 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday and closed Saturday and Sunday.
