Arkansas Seniors - Thea Foundation’s 2026/2027 Scholarship Competition is officially open and it's your time to shine!

With 36 scholarships up for grabs across five creative categories — Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Creative Writing, Film, and Fashion Design — your talent is all that matters.

No theme. No limits.

Ditching the theme last year seemed to inspire a lot of students, so we are doing the same thing this year - so bring your most original, inspired work to the table. Whether you’re painting, performing, writing, filming, or designing, we want to see you at your creative best.

The deadline for submissions is January 10, 2027.

Thea scholarships are awarded to graduating Arkansas high school seniors, solely on talent, never on test scores, GPAs or intent to major in the arts. That means that whether you want to be a ballet dancer or a biochemist, your Thea scholarship is applicable.

Congratulations to our very own Melanie Curtis, who is Harding's first Certified Financial Aid Administrator®. Melanie joins over 1,000 financial aid professionals nationwide who have earned the formal Certified Financial Aid Administrator (FAAC) designation, sponsored by the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. This professional milestone recognizes extensive industry experience, a rigorous comprehensive exam, and adherence to strict ethical standards in student aid administration. Melanie is a financial aid advisor for all of Harding's graduate programs.
