We know its going to be a great week when we get to take the time for a deep dive into implementation science! The UW Global Health Implementation Science Program is thrilled to welcome 83 researchers, clinicians, and public health professionals representing 12 countries for a one-week intensive course, led by faculty co-directors Kenny Sherr and Arianna Means.

The course offers two tracks: Fundamentals which provides participants with the opportunity to get an introduction to the field, and for those who already have an introductory understanding of implementation science (IS), and Advanced which deepens training in IS methods and their application.

Over the course of the week, participants will listen to didactic lectures and case studies presented by IS researchers and collaborators of the DGH IS Program, to gain knowledge and the tools to help bridge the gap between research and practice, and ensure interventions work in the communities they serve.

To help demystify IS and provide resources to anyone wanting to learn more, visit the UW IS Resource Hub at https://impsciuw.org/.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this year’s a success!

Together we raised over $10,000 to support future global health leaders by expanding access to research opportunities, reducing financial barriers, and providing emergency support when it’s needed most.

is TODAY!

When you give to the Global Health Student Support Fund, you support vital opportunities for global health students, enabling on-the-ground research with global partners, reducing financial barriers to studying in Seattle, and responding to emergency needs.

Through a gift of any size, you can help us maximize impact thanks to a group of generous donors who will contribute $2,000 if we receive 15 gifts (of any amount), an additional $3,000 if we receive 30 gifts (of any amount), and another $5,000 if we receive 60 gifts—amplifying every contribution.

We invite you to be part of this shared effort to create a healthier, more equitable world—the future of global health is Powered by You!
