Labor is not punishment but the necessity and nobility, which creates a better society. This is also the reason why Freemasons wear various symbols representing tools used for labor on the cloth.

By working, a man shows respect and appreciation to God. To perform well assigned tasks is a man's highest duty and labor should give a person the greatest happiness and internal satisfaction. To Freemasons labor is worship.

Enjoy an elegant evening of Thursday Night Football at the exclusive Columbia Tower Club, Thursday, November 7 at 6:00 pm. We will be enjoying some fellowship, watching Thursday Night Football and enjoying the spectacular views from the 75th and 76th floor. If you have never been to this "members only" club to see the sites from the highest vantage point in the city, well than, you are missing out on a Lafayette perk! Please RSVP so that we can get a head count, otherwise see you there! This is going to be epic!

A special thank you to Walter F Meier Lodge of Research # 281, and Grand Master MWB Dean W Heinemann, for an amazing Table Lodge! WB Albert Gustafson, WB Richard McMillan, Bro Roberto Minghetti and Bro Dustin Foss joined in the many successfully executed toasts. By the end of the evening, we were all a well oiled machine with perfect ex*****on of our stated toasts. Truly a sight to be seen. Most memorable was the historical lecture, in character, of our founding father and American hero, George Washington. Hats off to a wonderful evening gentlemen. On June 6, 2013 we will be celebrating Memorial Day and the 69th anniversary of D-Day.
We will be serving BBQ Ribs and the usual fixings for dinner. This meeting is casual (Western Night) and as is custom, we will be recognizing our veterans for their contributions and sacrifices. Following our meeting we ask brethren to spend some time and enjoy a few single malts and fellowship.

It was either the free, all you can drink, microbrewery beer tasting, or the appearance by Seahawks coach, Pete Carroll, but the last Columbia Tower Club event this month was legendary. Thank you for everyone who made it out. We look forward to the next CTC event!
