From Acting Techniques to Zumba, the Continuing Education program at North Seattle College provides a wide array of non-credit classes for everyone in the community with a desire to learn and have fun. Geared toward lifelong learners, our reasonably priced, quality courses are led by instructors who teach their passion and profession. You’ll find our personal enrichment courses conveniently offered on both weekdays and weekends, daytime and evenings, and one-time workshops or multiple-sessions.

That's a wrap on this years CE art show! We are so proud of our students and their work! Thank you to all those that entered and everyone that helped put on yet another great show this year. This is the last week of the art show. Please make arrangements to pick up all artwork exhibited this Fri., August 14, 2026, 12-5pm in the NSC Art Gallery (IB 1431A). What a wonderful turn out for this year’s CE Art Show opening reception! The weather was perfect and the turn out fantastic! We estimate about 175 people showed up for this year’s show. We want to send out special thank you’s to the following:
🎨All the artist that submitted 155 pieces to this years show
🖌All the instructors that helped jury this years show
🖼All the volunteers that helped hang the artwork and staff the gallery
😎Instructor Kerstin Graudins for the screenprinting demonstrations
🎶Instructor Blake Cisneros and his son for the wonderful live music
🙌Amanda Knowles, NSC Art Gallery Director and the whole CE staff for coordinating this year’s event

This year’s award winners are….

Virginia Paquette Memorial Award: Pilar Simon, First Apartment, Bellingham
Jurors’ Award: Liam Ngan, Lagos III
Jurors’ Award: Christie Reneer, Prudence

Each winner will receive complimentary tuition for one Continuing Education class of choice. Use your award during Fall 2026, Winter 2027, or Spring 2027.

The 12th Annual Student Art Show Opening Reception is happening tonight (July 13th) from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM in the North Seattle College Art Gallery.

See artwork created by Continuing Education students, meet fellow artists, enjoy light refreshments, live music, and a screenprinting demonstration! CE screenprinted bags will be given away while supplies last!
