Art takes an unexpected turn at the 2026 Coffin Farm Summer Show 🌿

Cornish painting instructor Von Coffin hosts this annual group exhibition, bringing together local Seattle-based artists whose sculpture, installation, sound, video and performance works are spread throughout a 15-acre family farm in Redmond.

Some works may stay on the farm permanently, slowly weathering over time and becoming part of its growing sculpture graveyard.

This September Micaela Taylor, Dance '14, premieres her newest work, Bow Out, at English National Ballet.

In true interdisciplinary fashion, the ballet will be performed alongside George Balanchine’s Symphony in Three Movements and Jae Man Joo’s forthcoming debut of Auguries of Innocence as part of the company’s season-opening triple bill.

A recent article by FLAUNT (below) explores her journey into previously untrodden territory: tap performance.

Cornish Film and Media student K. Moylan graces the big screen tonight— a 40-foot projected screen under the Space Needle for Seattle Center’s Movies at the Mural presented by Prime Video.

Before tonight's showing of Masters of the Universe (2026), Moylan's 'Vampuppet' tells the story of a vampire who meets his match when he attempts to bite the wrong puppet.

Thank you for supporting the RailSpur Seattle x Neddy Artist Awards exhibition 🌺

Growing Forward: The Neddy at 30 Years presents 22 Neddy finalists who have been recognized since the award's inception. Alongside the exhibition are four residency spaces filled by a selection of these 22 artists— each currently producing works to be installed outdoors at our South Lake Union and First Hill campuses this fall.

We look forward to enjoying their work as we walk through campus!

Soft Horizon, an interactive triptych installation by Cornish Design Faculty Simran Jagnik, explores how environments, perception and material systems remain in continuous states of transition.

Designed for the Seattle Design Festival 2026 theme IN[FLUX], the 3D installation is composed of layered translucent surfaces, conductive fabrics, LED lights and sensors. Each face operates as an interconnected field of experience, shaped by light, motion and material responsiveness — allowing viewers to shape the work through their perception of a composed haiku.

Jagnik is presenting the work with a team of three: fellow designers Kaylee Hart Kelly, a game designer, and Sabrina Wells, a Cornish Game Art student.
