Today started off with the conferall of the 1st and 2nd grades of the Ancient and Masonic Order of the Scarlet Cord followed by a joint AMD dinner hosted by Juan Nepomuceno Seguín, Manly P Hall, and San Antonio Council. We also had Companions from Texas, Noah (New Mexico), James Butler Bonham, and Helotes Councils. The dinner featured a talk by Dennis Yates . Thank you to Seguin Elks 1229 for the wonderful dinner.

A great night as we held our annual election and installation of officers. Congratulations to our Red Branch of Eri honorees Justin Hodge (Knight Commander), Bob Hays (Esquire), and Leon Tisdale (Man-at-Arms). Immediate Past Sovereign Master Jason E. Reichenberg was also presented with his Past Sovereign Master apron. We then proceeded to the Seguin Elks 1229 for dinner and discussion on the Mysteries of Mithras.

Tonight was a special joint meeting of Juan Nepomuceno Seguín No. 594 Allied Masonic Degrees Council and Manly P. Hall No. 373 Allied Masonic Degrees Council. In attendance were representatives of four different Councils (adding San Antonio and Helotes) and three current Sovereign Masters.

The evening featured a fantastic steak dinner by the Seguin Elks followed by an educational presentation by SM Jason E. Reichenberg. Most importantly, that was followed by a discussion with all the Companions.

Our Council was invited to participate in a remembrance ceremony for Col. Juan Seguin, Freemason and Hero of the Texas Revolution, by the Seguin family. Sovereign Master, Jason E. Reichenberg was invited to speak and the Council presented a memorial wreath. Brothers from New Braunfels Masonic Lodge and Guadalupe Lodge were also present. The family then placed the wreath at the Juan Seguin memorial in the City of Seguin's town square.

A great night in Masonry as we initiated a new companion, Robert Oestreich and welcomed two into the Red Branch of Eri, Knight Commander Charles Kee and Esquire Jason Reichenberg.

The meeting was followed by a formal dinner and discussion on the "Order of the Secret Monitor" by Companion Steve Purvis.
