Rowan College of South Jersey (RCSJ) was established on July 1, 2019, with the merger of Cumberland County College and Rowan College at Gloucester County. We are a comprehensive, two-year, dual-campus regional institution sponsored by the residents of Cumberland and Gloucester Counties through their respective Boards of County Commissioners. RCSJ seeks to assist each person in the development of

a career, while at the same time developing humanistic values and encouraging personal enrichment. The College is dedicated to its community and provides college and university transfer programs, career education, community services and special assistance programs. The College enrolls nearly 8,000 students and offers more than 100 career and associate degree programs. Fully accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, the College is guided by a five-year strategic plan focused on student success, leadership and service-learning, and economic and workforce development.

Attention RCSJ Students! In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, RCSJ is having a week-long volunteer event that gives students the opportunity to build leadership skills, connect with classmates on campus, and ignite change in our local communities.

Students can participate in hands-on volunteer opportunities, community engagement activities, reflection experiences, collection drives, nonprofit partnerships, and large-scale service initiatives aimed at supporting both campus and surrounding South Jersey communities.

In remembrance of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, we're teaming up with Rowan College of South Jersey, AmeriCorps, and 9/11 Day for RCSJ Serves, a campus-wide week of service honoring the tragic events that took place in 2001.

We’re inviting local nonprofit organizations to table at the Nonprofit Exhibition! Organizations will showcase their mission and volunteer opportunities to the passionate campus community.

RCSJ and Volunteer Center of South Jersey invite you to join us for RCSJ Serves!

In recognition of the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks, RCSJ Serves will bring together students, faculty, staff, departments, clubs, community organizations, and nonprofit partners for a unified Week of Service across the Gloucester and Cumberland campuses of Rowan College of South Jersey. Throughout the week of September 8-11, participants will engage in hands-on volunteer opportunities, community engagement activities, reflection experiences, collection drives, nonprofit partnerships, and large-scale service initiatives designed to support both campus and surrounding South Jersey communities.
