From June 10 - June 14, 2026, Assistant Dean Jim Celia and Faculty Member & Program Coordinator Ismail Asadov attended the Accreditation Council of Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) National Conference in Phoenix, AZ. At the conference, they attended various workshops covering the details of accreditation procedures, classroom operations (including the inclusion of AI in coursework), and new opportunities for partnership with other colleges and universities. Jim continued to represent RCSJ on the Region 1 council, continuing his service as the regional secretary for all business meetings.

On Thursday, April 16, a trio of our stellar Business Studies Division students were recognized as members of the Lita Marcelo Abele Institute for Business Studies at the Rowan College of South Jersey Foundation Gala. Through the generosity of Board Member Lita Abele and her Institute, the students were provided leadership and networking training, free tickets to the Gala, and gift cards to pay for their Gala looks! Pictured below are the students with Lita (picture 1) and with our Business Studies leadership (Dean Dominic Puggi and Assistant Dean Jim Celia) as well as our supporting faculty member for the Institute initiative, Danielle Morganti (picture 2).

Hello everyone! Our Gloucester Business Studies advisor, Alejandra Valencia, is in our office at the Rastelli Business and Corporate Center from now until noon to help with Business Studies specific advisement questions for the Summer and Fall 2026 semesters.
