On October 7, we hosted a Personal Finance workshop in partnership with First Harvest Credit Union, EOF, Tri-Alpha Honors Society, the Keating Family First Generation Institute, the Office of Military Services, and RCSJ's Wellness Center. Students learned from First Harvest's Associate of Membership Development, Tijuana Brown, about the basics of budgeting, money management, credit scores, and financial discipline. Student involvement helped spark a great discussion that was grounded in the financial realities of our diverse student population.
Our thanks to Ms. Brown, First Harvest Credit Union, Danielle Crawford from the Keating Family First Generation Institute, Erik Burrell from EOF and Tri-Alpha, Elaine Dean from the Office of Military Services/Student Services, Laura Easter from the Wellness Center, and VP of Student Services Judy Atkinson for attending and facilitating this wonderful event.
