Shenango invaded London, England!

Faculty members Roxanne Atterholt and Carol Cowan-Crawford are traveling with Penn State students for the annual London, United Kingdom: Adulthood and Families study abroad experience. The two met up with colleague Phil Nash while he was conducting research in the city.

Congratulations to Penn State Shenango student Alex Kavanagh, who received an Honorable Mention at the 2026 University Libraries Research Awards!

Alex earned the recognition for his project titled, “The Role of Small-Stature Ornamentals in Urban Climate Resistance: Insights from Peperomia.”

Penn State University Libraries presented its ninth annual Undergraduate Research Award: Excellence in Information Literacy honors at the end of the spring 2026 semester to 95 students at 19 Penn State campuses.
