The Gamma Gamma Chapter of Sigma Beta Xi Sorority, Inc. would love for you to partner with us in making the 2026–2027 school year an amazing success!

Our goal is to assist 2–3 teachers by helping them start the school year with the classroom supplies and resources they need to create a positive learning environment for their students.

We are currently accepting monetary donations and new classroom supply donations, and we would greatly appreciate your support in helping us achieve this initiative.

What Is Juneteenth? 💛 ❤️ 💚 🖤

Juneteenth marks June 19, 1865, when enslaved Texans learned they were free, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation.

The celebration began in Texas and spread nationwide, becoming a federal holiday in 2021.

Juneteenth honors freedom, resilience and Black history while recognizing the ongoing fight for equality.

Juneteenth honors the end to slavery in the United States and is considered the longest-running African American holiday.

Gamma Gamma proudly celebrated National Day of Service by giving back where it matters most—within our community.

With hearts for service and compassion in action, we spent time giving back in two ways supporting a local shelter that provides a safe space for women rebuilding their lives and also within a community outreach program, which included preparing and serving a warm meal, donating clothing, and contributing resources to help further the shelter’s mission via donations.

Together, we remain committed to uplifting, empowering and giving back!
