Shepherd University is proud to announce the establishment of the Dennis F. Frye Endowed Chair in Civil War Studies and Director of the Civil War Center, advancing scholarship and public history at the University.
Established by historian Dennis Frye ’79, the endowed chair strengthens the long-term mission and outreach of Shepherd's Civil War Center. Dr. Jennifer M. Murray has been named the inaugural chair.
