The Alumni Association is governed by an elected Board of Directors who serve three-year terms. The Board meets regularly throughout the year and an annual meeting is held each June where all association members are invited to attend.

From her time as a student-athlete and leader on campus to her current role helping individuals and families navigate housing and financial challenges, Aly continues to make a meaningful impact in her community. She also stays connected to Shepherd by teaching and mentoring students.

🌟 May Alumni Highlight: Jaelyn Wratchford ’22, MBA ’24 🌟
Jaelyn Wratchford’s commitment to service and civic engagement has shaped every chapter of her journey. From registering voters through her high school INSPIRE club, to focusing on youth development as the 2021 Miss West Virginia, Jaelyn has always led with purpose.

She continues to make an impact today as a Ranson City Councilperson and Jefferson High School volleyball coach—empowering the next generation through leadership, health, and wellbeing.

We are proud to celebrate Jaelyn as she begins an exciting new chapter, exploring all that nomadic bus life has to offer. Shepherd Alumni truly go far—and make a difference wherever they land! 🚍✨

The Shepherd University Alumni Association Endowed Scholarship is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year, and it may benefit a Shepherd student in your life—your child, grandchild, niece, nephew, or spouse.

This scholarship was created by alumni, for future Rams, to help support undergraduate students who are carrying on the Shepherd legacy.
