For this weeks Motivation Monday speech we are highlighting Sandra Oh’s speech at the Stop Asian Hate Protest in Pittsburgh for Asian American and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month. During this speech Sandra Oh, a famous actress known for Grey’s Anatomy and Killing Eve, gave those in the AAPI community a change to yell "I am proud to be Asian. I belong here.”

"For many of us in our community, this is the first time we are even able to voice our fear and our anger, and I really am so grateful to everyone willing to listen.”

This weeks Motivation Monday speech we are looking at a talk give by David E. Hayes-Bautista on Cinco de Mayo, since we are only 2 days away from the great holiday. He talks about the history of the holiday and why it is a purpose was to support social justice during the Civil War.
