From his playing days at Shippensburg University, former Red Raider standout Jake Metz has always dreamed of playing in the NFL. Today, Metz received another chance, securing a tryout with the Buffalo Bills Friday.

Congratulations to the 2016 Shippensburg University field hockey team! With its 2-1 win over East Stroudsburg the Raiders earned a spot at nationals in Massachusetts! The Raiders will open the national tournament with a PSAC Championship game rematch against Millersville University Friday Nov. 18. Time TBA.

Also congratulations to coach Bertie Landes on her 300th career victory at the helm of the Raider program.

With this second-half basket, Shippensburg University's Abe Massaley became the 29th 1,000th-point scorer in SU history. The Raiders opened up the 2016-17 season with a 94-72 win over Penn State Wilkes-Barre at Heiges Field House. Congratulations Abe!

Coming into the season, the Shippensburg University men and women’s cross-country teams had lofty goals to end with a strong finish at the NCAA Division II Nationals. The road to nationals ran through Kutztown University first, though.
