Please join us in congratulating Olivia Harrington, Physician Assistant student, on being selected as the SHPS October Student of the Month!

Olivia was nominated for her leadership, willingness to support others, and positive presence within the PA program. Olivia serves as the AAPA Student Representative, where she actively keeps her classmates informed and engaged. She is also an active member of the program’s fundraising committee, contributing ideas and support while consistently encouraging those around her.

One of the most meaningful comments from her nomination described how Olivia’s presence encourages her classmates to continue challenging themselves while bringing a sense of peace during demanding times.

🧠 National Rehabilitation Awareness Week: Clinical Faculty Spotlight 🧠

Noelle Burton is an occupational therapist and Assistant Professor, board-certified as a Brain Injury Specialist. In our outpatient clinic, she works with the post-acute neurological population, with concentrated interests in stroke and traumatic brain injury. That focus extends into the classroom, where she's mentoring an OT student capstone project on a support group for stroke survivors.
