Week 2 | Monday Recap: Making waves, rain or shine!

🩰 Doll & Me Dance Camp
Our dancers stepped into the spotlight alongside their favorite dolls and stuffed friends! They built strength with elephant and crab walks, stretched like graceful cats, and even went bananas with splits 🍌 Talk about stuffing their day with fun!

🔬 BioTech Discovery & Innovation Lab
Things got berry exciting in the lab as our scientists extracted DNA from strawberries! Talk about getting to the core of discovery 🍓🧪

🎬 Comics, Camera, Action!!!
Our storytellers plotted something wicked as they dove into developing villain backstories. These campers are proving it’s good to be bad when it comes to creative storytelling!

🎨 Sculpt It! Paper Mâché
Our young artists began to shape up their creations, crafting the foundations of turtles and giraffes. With every layer, their projects are sure to come out of their shells 🐢🦒

⚽ Soccer with Radi Baltov
Our players kicked it into high gear with dribbling drills, dodging raindrops and defenders alike! Whether under cover or on the field between showers, they didn’t let the weather rain on their game 🌧️

🖨️ 3D Printing for Teens
Our teen designers got the inside scoop with a Collab tour and saw the printers in action! They engineered excitement by exploring how shapes build a train in Tinkercad and started drafting their own next-level designs 🚂

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and serves as an important moment to reflect on our nation's history.

As an organization dedicated to education and lifelong learning, we honor the value of understanding the events and experiences that have shaped our communities.

Our office will be closed on Juneteenth in observance of the holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, June 22.

Got a young artist who loves to build, create, and get imaginative? There's just 1 spot left in our Sculpt It! Studio summer camp for ages 7–12! 🎨

In this hands-on sculpture studio, campers will transform simple materials like paper, cardboard, and glue into amazing three-dimensional works of art. They'll learn how to create armatures, layer and sculpt forms, add texture, and bring their original ideas to life.

Along the way, they'll explore artistic expression, problem-solving, and creative design in a fun, supportive environment where imagination takes center stage.
