Burns in Salons are more common than you think with individuals with neuropathy or PVD and PAD. “Soak-less or dry pedicures” using hot towel wraps contain the heat. Vascular disorders reduce circulation with nowhere to cool down or to “wick away the heat” while your nerves are telling you everything is ok. The brain and the sensory nerves in your feet are not connected or blocked with neuropathy not letting feedback signal something is wrong.
