🕯️💗 The Dolly Candle Fundraiser for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! 💗🕯️

We recently heard from Marsha Sherman of Sigourney, who is a director with Mia Bella Candles. In honor of Dolly Parton and her incredible commitment to childhood literacy, Mia Bella created “The Dolly” candle and Marsha is donating 100% of her profit from her direct candle sales to Keokuk County Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library!

We are incredibly grateful to the Sigourney Ministerial Alliance and everyone who contributed to the July 5th Ecumenical Church Service offering!

The Keokuk County Dolly Parton Imagination Library was chosen as the organization for the offering, and we are so excited to share that $1,580 was raised!

This generous gift will help us continue putting more books into the hands of children across Keokuk County and encouraging a love of reading from an early age.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support of our local children and families. We are so thankful for a community that believes in the power of a good book!

Today is the last day of the Iowa State Fair! It is bittersweet, but we still have Keokuk County 4-H being represented today!

Today, during the second session of the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony (which starts at 3:30 pm), Matt & Heather Bombei will be inducted into the Iowa 4-H Hall of Fame! We are proud to have them representing Keokuk County!
