🎬🍿 Reminder that tonight is our first showing of the Spanish Film Festival, starting with Aztec Batman! Join us at 7pm in UPS Auditorium here on campus.

This film festival is made possible by a generous donation from Professor Emeritus Marty Knepper and a grant from the Pragda Spanish Film Club! We would also like to thank the following community partners for their help with promotion: Acme Comics and Collectibles, Gomez Pallets, Mi Rancherita Restaurant, Mundo Latino, the Sioux City Art Center, the Sioux City Public Museum, KWIT-KOJI: Siouxland Public Media, SUX Pride - Sioux City, and Unity in Action.

Beginner Spanish students got to know one another over a fun challenge: build a pyramid of solo cups with only a rubber band, twine, and 8 Spanish phrases. They rocked it!

Liam is majoring in communications and was part of the program's Mside Campus Media group. His advice for students is to "always trust your gut, even when it doesn't work out how you thought."

Taylor is graduating with a communications major and a minor in marketing. Her advice for future students? Don't feel pressured to declare a major right away even if it feels like you're falling behind. She continues by saying, "you'd rather have one semester not sure than a lifetime unhappy with your career."
