Yogalingam named executive director of Sri Lanka America Chamber of Commerce

Arushan Yogalingam, a 2017 Slippery Rock University graduate with a degree in management, was named an executive director of the Sri Lanka America Chamber of Commerce, a national organization based in Las Vegas that promotes a positive trade relationship between the United States and Sri Lanka. In his role, Yogalingam will help the chamber facilitate and develop trade, commerce, investment and bilateral relations between the two nations.

Yogalingam works as a serial entrepreneur in software development and logistics management in Las Vegas.

SRU to host in-person commencement ceremonies this spring!
"Recent changes in state gathering guidelines as well as a very low COVID-19 positivity rate on campus – lower than one half of one percent – has given us increased confidence that face-to-face commencement ceremonies can be conducted safely. Although specifics are still being finalized – and will be announced in the near future – I am happy to share that SRU will host in-person commencement ceremonies Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1. "
