The Office of Sustainability at Slippery Rock University is responsible for promoting and coordinating all SRU sustainability initiatives on campus and working to expedite the achievement of our sustainability goals. Some of the responsibilities of the Office of Sustainability include acting as the SRU clearinghouse for campus sustainability resources, overseeing environmental conservation efforts, and working in concert with/coordinating the efforts of the existing environmentally related SRU committees, including the President’s Commission on Sustainability, the Environmental Zoning Committee; the Center for Student Involvement and Leadership; the Green Fund, the Macoskey Center, and the Energy Conservation Committee.
