Alaska Christian College (ACC) was founded in July of 2000 to meet post-secondary educational needs of Alaska Native students. ACC opened its doors on September 16, 2001 to 22 students from 13 different tribal and ethnic groups from seven different states, 18 of whom were of Native Alaskans/American ethnic origin.
