Plant-Based for Life

Plant-Based for Life I'm a plant-based cooking instructor and nutrition educator who loves helping people fall in love wi Hi, I'm Annie. in psychology from Harvard.

I'm a certified Food for Life instructor and plant-based nutrition educator, and it is an absolute joy for me to help others understand how to eat and cook for optimal health. I transitioned to a whole-food, plant-based diet in 2008 to protect myself from the chronic diseases that run in my family. Growing up, I thought I was doomed to develop heart disease and other degenerative illnesses no matt

er what I ate, until I discovered the science and practice of whole-food, plant-based nutrition. Adopting this way of eating has brought me more health and peace of mind than I ever thought possible, and I'm eager to share what I've learned with others. I've spent the last 8 years continuing my education in nutrition and cooking up a whole-food, plant-based storm in my own kitchen. Today I'm a certified Food for Life instructor through the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine and a certified Diabetes Educator through the American Association of Diabetes Educators. I'm also certified in plant-based nutrition through the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies and hold a B.A. As a teacher I draw regularly on my background in psychology, and love seeing how insights from behavioral science empower my students to create new eating habits that are healthy, sustainable, and enjoyable. In addition to my Food for Life nutrition and cooking classes, I offer grocery store tours, pantry makeovers, in-home cooking lessons, and individual coaching to help people along their plant-based journeys.
